Sell with TrailheadDrew’s focus on entrepreneurship began when he founded TitleMade, a software startup that made county records accessible for oil & gas landmen. Drew grew TitleMade and led the company to a successful exit after two years of operating. After the sale, Drew sold mineral asset packages across the country with Dale Operating Company, while maintaining a close working relationship with small business owners seeking acquisitions in various industries in the DFW area.
Drew graduated from Texas A&M and worked in real estate valuation and financial analysis in Houston before completing his MBA at SMU with a finance concentration. He lives in Dallas, TX with his wife, Claire.
Zach entered acquisitions and small business ownership when he acquired a waste management business from its retiring founder in Dallas. Zach led Hart Waste for four years, growing the company, and his passion for mergers and acquisitions, throughout the process. While at Hart, Zach identified a need for better software for waste management companies and founded Hauler Software, which he continues to run today. After selling his business, Zach worked at Transitus Capital, a boutique investment bank, focusing on sell-side advisory transactions.
Prior to the waste business, Zach was a product manager at a healthcare software startup. He graduated from Texas A&M and lives outside of Austin, TX with his wife and their son.
As business owners who have previously started, purchased, and sold our own businesses, we know what it's like to be in your shoes.
Most business owners only have one chance to exit their business. We understand the stress involved in making this decision, and we believe that the best is yet to come.
After you sell, you have the opportunity to start on a new trail in life, and this is how we named our company. We want this trail to be even better than the last, and we want to partner with you so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor, both for you, your family, and your community.
We’re honored to be a small, but important piece of your journey and are thankful that you are allowing us to be a part of it.
We're here to talk even if you aren't ready to sell and just want to learn more about the process.
