Process Highlights

Child's Play approached Trailhead in 2022 considering a transaction after receiving unsolicited offers from several investment banks representing buyers and individual buyers themselves. We advised ownership that the offers on the table were low and unlikely to "stick" after being scrutinized during due diligence. While ownership was ready to execute a process, we advised Child's Play to pursue a sell side Quality of Earnings with Margin CFO also based here in Texas. With over $25M in revenue, the company had outgrown their existing accounting processes and needed a second opinion on how to correctly implement cost of completion accounting.
