Maktech Fleet Services Acquisition

Trailhead Partners is pleased to announce the acquisition of Maktech Fleet Services, a commercial fleet maintenance company located in Melissa, TX, by East Fork Trinity Partners, led by Brian Baklenko.

Tony Del Plato founded Maktech in 2016 and focused on serving fleets ranging from local, single-digit trucks to national accounts with as many as 10,000 vehicles. Tony had positioned the company for his exit and approaching retirement over the past few years.

Mr. Del Plato said about the transaction, "We're in a complicated industry and serve hundreds of clients per year, and I knew it was going to be difficult to find someone to take over the business. I was happy to meet Brian and knew quickly that he was the right fit. The guys at Trailhead were trustworthy, diligent and transparent. They did what they said they would do and I'm thankful to have partnered with them to find the right buyer to continue the legacy of this business."

Abernathy, Roeder, Boyd & Hullett, P.C. served as sell-side counsel, with Musgrove Law Firm, P.C representing the buyer. Veritex Bank provided financing, with support from Viso Business Capital. Trailhead Partners was exclusive M&A advisor to the Seller.
